I am using Roxio Creator 9 home. Starting a couple of months ago (i've tried intermittently since then), I can copy files to a CD or DVD on my computer (HP Pavilion zd8000 media center with CD/DVD-RW drive). However, when the verification process starts, I maybe get to 500k or so then it cannot verify files and stops and ejects the CD/DVD. Other than taking the laptop to a center, is there anything I'm doing wrong that's not related to hardware? ANY help is so appreciated. I just want to back up some photos - that's all!

It would issue an error message or warning when it stops.
It is important to know what that message says…
Since there are 30 or so programs within the Suite, it would be nice to know which program you are using when this happens?
