I just made a new DVD with 15 videos burned on to it. The menu works fine, but 12 out of the 15 videos come as a blank screen when played. Only 3 videos work perfectly fine. The Burn preview works fine, audio and video. When i am burning though, the encoding preview is also a blank screen for the 12 videos.

I was just wondering why only 3 of the videos are working fine. They were all captured using the same software, Pinnacle Dazzle

What program did you use to burn them?  Did all of the videos preview okay?  Have you updated your video drivers?

Your computer could have been sitting on the shelf for a year, so being new, in no way indicates that the drivers are updated.

What is the origin of the video files?  What video card or chip do you have in your computer?

Even if the computer was built yesterday, when was the last time the manufacture updated the disc image they use to load your HD with???

That is why a "new PC" can be out of date on arrival.
