For the 1st time, I am trying to burn a DVD of a project I created in Videowave. I have a Dell Computer with a DVD+-Rewriteable Drive using DVD-R disks. In Videowave, I select the icon to Burn with MYDVD Express, which brings up the MYDVD Express window where I select DVD in the pull down window in the upper left and click on the Create Disk button. This brings up the Burn Disk window and I select Burn to Disk and click the Burn button. After a couple of seconds, the window changes to a Burn Project progress window and within 2 seconds it shows 100% complete with the following message "8004520c Error while Encoding Movie 1". My file size is about 2.5 Gbytes, so I would have expected this step to take much longer than 2-3 seconds.
I then went to your online customer care window and entered this error message and was directed to a solution page (OH. Joy!). I tried defragmenting as directed which didn't make the problem go away, so I tried the 2 other options offered: 1. to create an image file and 2. to create a folder set. Neither of these options worked because I got the same error message in about the same amount of time as the burn option.
I'm just trying to save JPEG formatted images onto a DVD so I can show them to people using a DVD player connected to a TV. I've got company coming over tomorrow for dinner and would like this to work, so any help you can give me ASAP would be appreciated.

Take a look at these posts: 1, 2, and 3, and if you are not further along after trying out the suggestions, post some info./specs about your pc.

Under Tools/Options, change to Software render.
BTW, you are on a users forum and not talking to Roxio employees. We are users of the software, and unless you see a Roxio logo by a person's name, they don't work for Roxio.

I downloaded a new driver for my DVD and that solved the problem. Thanks for your help.
