First off---can I use Creator 9 to copy photos from a folder on my hard drive to a blank disc? Will I be able to use the "new" disc on my cd/dvd player? At the present, I can burn the dvd or cd but I cannot finalize/close it so I can use it on my plyer. It will work on my computer. I am not trying to make a movie video. I am just trying to copy the photos to a disc. Like I said earlier, I am not real computer savvy. for example I have no idea what VIDEOWAVE is. thanks in advance for anyone's help.

If you just burn the pics to a disc you can use Creator Classic and make a Data disc. You'd be able to look at the pics from your computer.
To be able to view them using your DVD player you'd need to make a slideshow using either the Assistant or VideoWave.
Some DVD players do have the ability to view jpeg's though, just like you would from your computer.
