Hi, new to this and not exactly sure what i am doing yet. But hey, you got to start somewhere.
To the topic, or rather question, How do I burn 100 min cd's.
I have some old 100 min cassettes, purchased 100 min/900mb cd's but the writer dosn't recognise them as 100 mins.
There must be a way!!!
Anybody out there can help?

Try updating the firmware for your writer and see if it recognizes them then.

Do you wanna hear me beg you to take me back?
I'd gladly do it because....."

Yep,you got it.
The only time you need to Quote is if you want to include a previous posters response in your post.

Go to either your computer manufacturers site or the manufacturer of the drive to see if you can find new firmware for the drive. You should also find directions there.
Firmware helps with compatibility of media so that may allow you to use those discs.
Another thing is you'll need to get the music off the cassettes and onto your hard drive so why not just use standard 80 min cd's made from the tracks you've placed on your hard drive.

First not all writers could write up to 99min, and then very few readers could read up to 99min.

If you continue down this road burn your disc's at 4x if possible.

A better alternative today is MP3 and a MP3 player...
