I used drag to disk once. Now, when I do a backup using another software, drag to disk somehow loads and asks me questions about ejecting. Drag to disk must be loading automatically when I put a disk in the drive. How can I keep drag to disk off my computer unless I start it manually.

Try this, click start, run, type in, msconfig, click the startup tab, uncheck D2D, reboot the pc and check it out. Next time you install the software do a custom install and uncheck the D2D option.
