I posted this on the vista thread and should probably have been here - sorry. I am trying to backup my itunes library data onto dvds (not working in itunes) but when I go to burn data disc and enter the folder, it says it is too large. It won't cue me as to using multiple dvds. Why and how can I do it?

Spanning data is a bad idea really. If one disc in a spanned set goes down, then the whole set is useless.
Best to burn individual discs (just select sufficient data for disc one, burn that and then put the remainder on disc 2

If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed

There is no message that says "…it is too large."
Run it again and copy the EXACT text of the message! I suspect it is referring to Joliet limits of the File System…
