I own Toast 5 Titanium. This version ran off of OS 9 with an update to Mac OS X.
I wiped my computer and re-installed Tiger which, of course, deleted my old OS 9.
Now, I cannot this version.
Is there any updated or am I screwed?
In advance, thanks!

Roxio for awhile a long time ago sold a disc that had an OS X installer for Toast 5. Finding one of those could be your mission for the next year. Otherwise Toast 5 needed to be launched from a Mac booted in OS 9 in order to be updated to 5.1.4 or later (which I think was the start of the versions that could run in OS X). The final Toast 5 version was 5.2.3. If you have a backup that includes version 5.1.4 or later you may be able to simply drag the Toast application from the backup to your Applications folder and launch Toast.
Now that I filled you in my question is why would you want it? You can burn data discs with the Finder and audio CDs with iTunes. If that isn't enough get a version of Toast that was built for your version of OS X.

I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
