Hi,
If I import an MPEG 2 file, of a program encoded with Closed Caption content, will DVDit pass that information onto the final DVD?

Thanks for the help.

I would think such information won't be kept if DVDIt! transcodes the video.

I don't think there is any way to maintain the line 21 CC information.

Thank you for the help.
So, the next question is: what DVD creation application will pass on closed captioning information?

I copied an episode of JAG from the DVR to my sony camcorder using standard AV cables.

I then captured that video from the camcorder using MYDVD.

Once imported in that fashion I burned a DVD and the CC information was there and worked.

only problem is that I forget now if I used MYDVD or DVDIT to burn the DVD....
