My copy of "Roxio Copy & Convert 3" bought at Staples,
DOES contain Adware/Malware! I didn't know it when I was using it with XP and Norton or AVG, on my other PC, (I knew something was there though) but I am running Vista with Kaspersky on my laptop... and it screams at me when I try and install Roxio. Says Trojan.Generic but Roxio said it didn't...so like a #$^@ fool I tried to install it... Roxio loads the EXPLORER.EXE virus which is used to redirect to advertising sites...as well as another Trojan and 2 malware. I could not clean my PC and had to re-install Vista. Thinking that I must have picked up the Trojans/malware elsewhere...I again tried to install Roxio with just Kaspersky...not connected to the internet and on a completely clean Vista install. Lo & behold...the same Trojans and malware again. Now I'm no "guru" but it sure looks like it is coming from Roxio.
Maybe you can enlighten me? My command of english is fairly decent, so I can be more concise with my details if that helps? I am only trying to install it without the crap that "accesses the internet". If it doesn't update...there is no reason for access. I have used it before so I do know its meagre capacity...Dave

All Roxio software I have is updatable, works properly and contains no adware!
Perhaps if you were to explain what you problem is (in comprehensible english unless english is not you native language), someone may be able to help you.
