I am transferring a couple of tapes into AVI files then creating DVDs with DVDit Pro HD. I completed one DVD already but now I am getting an error "No valid recording device could be found. Please check your connections and try again" The burner works fine with my other applications AND already worked once with this program. I put a blank DVD in and checked the disk with Nero and it appears to be fine. I have rebooted, etc and it's not working.

Any ideas what could cause this?

Thanks,
Jim

Sounds like a driver issue with DVDit Pro HD, however, you can "build to volume" which creates all the necessary files on your hard drive and then you can use Nero to burn to DVD. Just a workaround till you can get your solution...

Excellent...thanks! I didn't see that option before. What should work for a while. Seems really strange that it worked one day and didn't the next day.
