Background Picture Sporadically Views

With Toast 7.0.2 on a Mac with 10.4.5 I am getting a seemingly random problem. Sometimes it displays the background picture when the image mounts and sometimes it does not. I have done hundreds of these in the last 4 months, so I know my settings are correct. any thoughts?
