I have a problem when I create a menu in My DVD. I insert four or five movies onto the menu screen and movie member #3, named “Classes” is skipped in the preview mode.
I have five movies that should be played in consecutive order. Each has its own button. When I place only three buttons on the menu, each movie plays properly. When I add a forth or fifth movie (I have tried each way), movie # 3 is skipped in the preview mode.
If I vary the sequence of movies, i.e., move movie # 3 to the fifth position, all play properly.
Movie # 3 and only movie #3 doesn’t want to be recognized in preview mode when it is in position #3. I have gone back to the original movie #3and changed a few settings and even renamed it. Same result.
More food for thought. I was able to make one DVD where everything worked properly. I then went and changed a few other movies (not #3) and now I’m having this problem.
Another question, when I highlight a menu button, should I be then able to go to view—settings? The instructions seem to indicate that but my menu choices are grayed out.
I recently install the program from a retail box. It is updated.

At the top of each Help page is a disclaimer that some features listed are not available in ALL versions. There is only one Help file for several different versions: Essentials, Standard and Deluxe. Only the Deluxe version has ALL features. The other two versions has different features 'greyed' out.
Not sure about the first problem. It could be related to a problem with ATI chipsets. Does your laptop have an ATI chipset?

Thanks for your quick reply.
I do have an ATI chipset.
I brought the "suite" edition thinking it would be top of the line. I wish I knew there was a higher edition. I would have paid to get the features. As it is, I'm short of time now. By this time next week I should be in Iraq courtesy of the US Army.
