Hey, folks...

Along with my HP Laptop came a copy of MyDVD 9 Basic (along with Creator Basic and Express Labeler), which I've recently decided to use in order to put together a DVD of my brother's Jeopardy appearance for friends and family.

The Video transfers from TiVo just fine... plays with absolutely no problem... but when I attempt to trim the footage and/or insert splits in order to cut out commercials, while the audio seems to do just fine, the video that follows the trim or split (nearly always) freezes on a frame a few seconds after the one that I intended to trim/split on until a second-or-so after the audio catches up - and then, in a burst of fast-forward speed, catches up to the audio and then continues normally. Any video/audio leading up the the trim/split has been just fine.

Hope ya'll followed me there.

Anyone have any clue what might be going on and how to rectify the problem?
