Can I add another 1 or 2GB to my already "too large" production and still have it fit onto a DVD, maintaining the best production quality, and use the "unused" space on the DVD? Is the quality of my production automatically downgraded becuase mdDVD thinks the size is too large, even if my project settings are the the best quality (see parameters below)? I think the answer to the second question (downgrading quality) is no because I have a different production that fits (per myDVD) and the ISO file for that is just about 3GB as well - but let me know.
I have a production currently lasting about 1 hour and myDVD shows that its "estimated size" is too large by about 50 Mb to fit on a 4.7GB DVD. When I send this production to an ISO file, the ISO file is about 3GB, and when I burn it to a DVD, it is about 3GB. This leaves 1.7GB of unused space on the DVD.
I would like to keep the highest production quality possible. My project settings are 16:9, NTSC, 720x480 video, interlaced, Dolby 448Kb/s.

One hour of video at best quality, on a standard DVD. Size means nothing.
