The music stops at 6:35, the counter resets to 0 then stops again at 6:30.
I tried both +R and -R with no success.

You have not given much information to work with.
I assume you are talking about creating a slideshow on a DVD. What program are you using to create the slideshow? You should be using Videowave to create the slideshow and myDVD to create menus and burn to DVD.
If the DVD plays properly on your PC then there is nothing wrong with the burn and the problem is between the DVD media you are using and your DVD player. What make are you using?

I used Roxio Slideshow Assistant (Roxio Creator 10). I took your advice and opened Videowave, edited the slideshow file and burned from Videowave using myDVD........same exact problem. Plays to 6:35, stops for 3 seconds, resets counter to 0 then continues fine until 6:35 and stops again. Does this 7 times in entire DVD (every 6:35). DVD players are JVC & Sony, DVD's are imation and Office Depot brand, neither worked.
700 photo's @ 4 seconds each = 46 min......not too bad!

Unfortunately, you are going to have to start the production over, in VideoWave. You can't use the Assistant production, even though it opens in VideoWave. The problem will still be there, as you have seen.

I figured that and started over in Videowave. When burning got the error 8004520C ERROR ENCODING MOVIE.
I'm in the process on defraging my hard drive which seems to be the suggestion from Roxio.
I'm running out of time....I hope this works!

Also, run a check for spyware/malware, using a free version of AdAware or Spybot.
And, reboot your computer, before doing any video work.

Under Options, try switching from hardware to software render.
It's worth a try.

I have done everything mentioned here plus I worked with a Roxio tech, he had me update the video driver, update Direct X, change render to software....same error!
One last thing to try......disable all items in msconfig-startup and then burn.

I will email Roxio and see what else they suggest but I am getting tired of trying.
Maybe another program will work better?

I just did a bit of math...
You say that the problems occurs at 6:35. If the duration of each slide is 4 secs that means that your problem occurs at slide #99. I seem to remember that when you use the Slide Assistan program there is aproblem when you use more then 99 slides. That is why it is recommended not to use the Slideshow Assistant but create the slideshow using Videowave.
Perhaps someone else will jump in and correct me or confirm my recollection.

I was burning the project with myDVD Express, Disk Format "DVD without menu's".
When I burned using Disk Format "DVD" it worked (I wanted it without menu's though, oh well).
My problem now is the DVD will play on only 1 of my DVD players (Sony) but not the other (Panasonic). It also plays on my computer.
Any suggestions?
ps Thanks for all everyone's help.

Don't use myDVDExpress, always use myDVD to burn a DVD.
To create a DVD without menus select File/New Project/DVD, no menus. Then add you Videowave project.
If your DVD plays fine on one DVD player as well as on your PC, then most likely the Panasonic does not lake the make of the DVD you are using.

Good to see you got it working. Your Panasonic may not like the brand, type of media, or the speed at which you burned the production.
Try using the same media, and burn at 4X speed.
