I have always liked the Creator classic CD/DVD burning module in EMC.  Is it still a part of version 10?  I can't really tell by the product description and the box doesn't seem to list the modules as they did in version 8.

Creator Classic is in Roxio EMC 10 Suite, used now for CD/DVD data burning. Music Disc Creator is now the program in the Suite for Audio CD, MP3/WMA Disc, and DVD Music Disc burning..

There is a Roxio EMC 9, 30 day trial, similar to v10 but not identical. http://www.roxio.com/enu/promotions/landing/creator_trial/

We recently found out that the Dell OEM (10.2) version does not, but all Retail versions do.

Do you know if this version can be installed on Vista?  The 9.1 update cannot be applied to the trial download and it has the Vista certification and several changes for Vista.  I don't know if the modules that are left out in 9.1 can be manually excluded in 9.

I wouldn't. Go with the retail Roxio EMC 10 or wait for Roxio EMC 11!
