unfortunately version 2.5 has not been supported for several years. unlikely that anyone would have the knowledge to help you out.

if you already burn a DVD, is there a Video_TS folder on it?

I have worked with 2.5 and your mpg file need to be the right mpg file that is use on DVD making ,your mpg file that comes of your camera need to be 720x576 mpg 2 and if the size is not like that you can not import this in DVDit 2.5 as it does not have an encoder to change your video size to 720x576.
look for you settings in Ulead for the MPG settings .
