I'm trying to put together a slideshow and when I render the project into a video file, then end result is disappointing. First I rendered using Hardware and the top and left edges of the picture have a blue stripe on them through the entire video. So...I tried rendering with software and the blue stripe goes away but the overall quality of the pictures and text seems to have deteriorated. Obviously hardware rendering is the better choice for quality except i get those damned blues edges......any ideas?

if it's not on my info below...i have updated video drivers and directx

Also....the pictures i'm using for the project add up to about 100mb of memory....I chose to output it to a video file to be used for playback on DVD at Best Quality...The final file size is like 480mb but the pictures seem to have lost there high res quality....in fact...they look a lot better in the preview.
