I have a Blackberry Curve 8310. RIM packages it with desktop software and in that package was Roxio Media Manager. On both of my desktop computers the software works fine and I don't have the problem I am about to describe. On my Dell Inspiron laptop (Win XP, 2002, Media center edition, SP2) the software seems to work except for the following. Whenever I try to use the "copy Down" feature to move a file from my laptop to my moblie device, after selecting, "convert for optimal playback", I get an error message stating that the file could not be transferred. If I don't select the convert option, the file won't play on my device.
Obviously the software works as I have it loaded on two other machines, I am wondering what setting I may need to change on my laptop. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software several times.
thanks

Try putting 'blackberry' in search (see top of page for search), and you'll get a lot of hits, including

What version of blackberry Desktop manager are you using? Have you attempted the latest version, 4.6?

Hello,
I have the same issue and can't find any resolution to it. When I try to copy videos to Blackberry Curve 8330 v4.3 Verizon, it shows an error message:
One or more of the following files could not be transferred
My Media Card is 2G and everything is installed properly.
Please help, I thank you in advance.
