After two years of working great our computer began having problems burning cds.  Many hours on the phone with Dell resulted in trying many solutions including reinstalling the operating system.  Now I can burn cds most of thetime hoever they will not play on our home cd player.  They play in the car but not on home units.  Is there a format I need to change?  I have been using CD-R however the Dell rep suggested I use CD-RW. Thanks for your help

Try a different brand. If the same CDs are playable in car but not in Home CD Player, sounds like a bad media.

Also don't use RW unless you want the music to disappear someday.  RW is great of you are going to write and rewrite but....
