Please. do you have Easy Media Creator 9 or Creator 2009 (aka MC 11).

That's probably a Windows Vista issue, have you googled for the error?

Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

Are you telling us that you have a burner installed in your system and you want to get it recognized,
or are you asking how to connect an external, portable drive?

Hi

And thank you for getting back to me

The software is instaled on laptop with internal drive, when I open  the program it does not pick up the drive and in the DESTINATION SELECTION, box at the bottom and shows as, NO DRIVE DETECTED.   I have uninstaled and re-instaled the software and it still does not pick up the disk drive.

Thank you, it's a failure of the software to recognize the drive.

Tell us please, what software are you running?  Is it Easy Media Creator 9, or Creator 2009 Ultimate?  And which program in the suite are you running?  [I would cheerfully kick the person who picked such a similar name for the new software - she has caused much confusion.]

Please tell us also what is the drive's model number?

Regards,
Brendon

Is that a Dell Edition?   If so, the tech support comes from Dell and you need to check their website support for a solution.
