When using classic creator or music disc creator, the windows don't open in the maximized state. Is there a way to have them default to maximized state. Also, the columns for folder, filenames, size etc won't stay the way I set them when I exit the programs and go back into them. Any help greatly appreciated.

When I open Creator Classic 9, the first thing I have to do is to maximize the window to suit my taste. On the upper left if the directory tree showing drives and folders. When I open a folder, the contents appear in the upper right of the screen. The columns are labeled name, size, info and modified. The width of the name column is not wide enough to show the complete file name. I can drag the column width to accomodate the filename but after exiting the program and restarting at a later time, the column width is at the same default width. Is there any way to set the width to default to the width that I set?? Have contacted Roxio but no answer yet. How hard would it be to put a "save as default" drop down in the view dropdown??? The only version that I remember that would open in maximized view was version 6. Unfortunately, it does not run under Vista. Was seriously contemplating switching back to XP Pro just to use Roxio 6 again.
I think it was the simplest and most easily used version to date. Who needs all the extra junk added to version 9. I will definitely not upgrade to version 10 or version 2009.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Does anyone have any input about Nero 8???

Ask them, I believe that they have a users group.
Too bad, getting rid of a very good program for one minor inconvenience.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

At what resolution are your running? I have no problems, but I have a widscreen monitor running at 1920x 1200, and my DPI setting is at 96 DPI.
Life is good!
