You can try going into device manager and delete the drive(s), reboot and then Windows will pick them up again and, hopefully, EMC will too.

Moretea, it's possible something else in your system may have got tangled with your burning engine. I'm not sure if your version of EMC had switched over to the PX engine, but running this engine updater can't hurt, and may just fix the problem.

If the PX engine update didn't help, perhaps kick-starting the Dragon Engine might do it. See this knowledgebase article.
