Jean, did you buy this disc at the link you posted?

I have never seen that media ID!  (YUDEN000½T0)

I would question if it is Taiyo Yuden and doesn't match any I've seen on your link.

Taiyo Yuden are not sold in brick and mortar stores in the US either.

I think that is an error in the DVD info pro I have (the one that came with EMC 9).

Nero Discspeed 4 gives a different MID, probably more to your liking :-), but does not report the manufacturer. See pic


The link site says it is an authorised distributor of Taiyo Yuden. The label at the top of the spindle says Made in Japan Manufactured by Taiyo Yuden .Co.Ltd. I really do think they're genuine :-)
For the CD discs bought from the same site, Nero gives second pic. This time does recognise manufacturer. DVDinfo pro gives
