What is the make and model of your optical drive? Which particular application (you have the EMC 10 Suite?) are you using?

That one is pretty well obsolete now.

Try the newest listed in Roxio KB: Here

Thanks Jim, one day I'll get to updating my links.

Thanks Jim, one day I'll get to updating my links.

Thanks to both of you guys.

Jim was right. The first link did not help; Jim's link saved the day!! I have been dealing with this for over a month!!! NO HELP from Roxio support. blah blah blah

How do you know about this file and where did it come from?.....if you don't mind taking the time to explain.

Have a great day.......I'm gonna burn some dvd's!!

I updated the older EMC 7.5 post.

Don't really know where it came from??? I believe one of the Gurus may have searched the KB and came up with it but it could have been a moderator posting.

In either case it is a Roxio fix for a common Windows problem that happens when you install burning software. It started in Win98 and you would think they might have gotten it right in 10 years.

Jim can't tell all his secrets. ;)

You can always do a search of the Roxio Knowledgebase
