Hi Charles73,

Not very easily using Easy Media Creator 10, see Easy Media Creator 10> tips & tricks>important topics>settings to use HP
Photosmart D-5160 printer (sorry I don't know how to give you a link to this topic hence the long winded directions), EMC10
does not list any HP Printers to print to DVD's.
I gave up trying the various work arounds to get it to work and bought "Sure Thing CD Labeller Deluxe 5" which does print
to HP Printers, it's an excellent programme.

I dont know if the new version of Roxio Creator 2009 supports HP printers or not.

Regards,

Mastercare.

Part of the problem is the reluctance of HP to give any insight into their driver software - Epson seem to have been willing to help, but not HP

However, the settings CD gave should work for 2009 equally well and people have managed to get it working

Which template do you use in Surething delux 5 in order to print directly to CD for HP printer? I have a HP photosmart 5280 and want to try something else other than roxio labeler 3.2 because it leaves some white space on the cd. I tried surething delux 5 but couldn't find a template for HP printer ( in the "cd/dvd printer" option).

Hi tmaster,

Ref your question, in SureThing, I open File>New Project and select disc label.
I then create my label using "Pictures/Clipart and Text" etc.
Once I have created the label, I then select print, the print box will show a list,
Disc Type, Printer and Print using etc. I assume that it picks up this info from
the printer info on your PC.

An other way to do it is to select Edit>Select Label Template this will give you
a pick list of :

1) Choose Media Type ie. CD/DVD Printers
2) Choose manufacturer ie. HP
3) Choose label type ie. Photosmart Series Full Face

Regards,

Mastercare.

In step 2 where I have to pick a manufacture, HP is not one of them. It has Cannon, Epson, MF digital, et cetera but not HP. Is there an updated version that includes HP manufacture?
