I'm at my wits end with my JVC everio camcorder.  It downloads video files as a "MOD" file and they're hard to view properly on a Mac and a Windows based computer.  I've bought Roxio and it does see these and play them which is great!  It's the closest thing I've come to being able to work with them other than the software that came with the camcorder, (which sucks)!
When I import a file that was taken in widescreen, it won't display it widescreen.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
