Problem: Captured video to edit in Videowave in Media Creator 10, only to have the preview window in Videowave barely play it. (It's glitchy, keeps freezing up)
I already switched it to Software mode, instead of hardware. Then I updated my driver from the HP website. It was working fine for awhile. Then, I noticed some scenes had the audio out of sync. So I recaptured the scenes, and then they played all glitchy again, but at least the scene was in sync.
Now I redownloaded the driver, made sure it's on software mode, but I can't get it to play smooth enough to be able to edit.
Any ideas?
Please Help. Preview Window Issues.

Please post your computer specs and your video card information (add it to your signature via My Controls at the top of the page). What monitor resolution are you using?
Where did you get the video and how did you capture it? In what format - capture as either AVI or mpg2. Does the captured video play OK via WMP?
Make sure you have no malware on your computer. How much free space do you have on your hard drive? Make sure you defrag your hard drive before any video capture. Disconnect from the Internet and shut down your anti-virus and anti-male ware during capture. Make sure you have no other programs running either doing the capture or during the editing. Clear your proxy file by opening Video Wave, select to make a new project and then go to the top menu, select tools, options and then press the clear button. Now add your video.
Is the new driver self installing or did you install the right one properly?
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
