I have videowave7 pro, and I think it's about 3 years old. I haven't ever used it because I bought another software program at the same time, and ended up using that one. Well, that other one crapped out on me and I can't get any help, so I am trying to use this one now. When I try to burn my production to DVD, I get a message that says it has encountered a problem and needs to shut down. It doesn't tell me what the problem is, and I have tried a different disc. Is it possible that I need to download updates for this software since it's so old? I also noticed that microsoft downloaded some hot fixes for their media player software, and that's about the time my other DVD burning software stopped working right. Can anyone help, or direct me to someone who can help? Thanks
John

Do you have WMP 11 and/or IE 7 installed? If yes you will have to uninstall them since they break Videowave 7 as well as some other programs.
I believe any version 7 related programs is no longer suppoorted and there are no updates available from Roxio.

I'm having the exact problem John is experiencing in VideoWave 7. I am unfamiliar with WPM 11 and/or IE7. I have tried to burn this project in DVD bulider. I can access the project in DVD builder from (Add Content) (Add New Title). It does burn, but I am unable to get past the menu screen to view the project. I figured it's because I have no buttons to access on the menu screen. I have tried numerous times to place them, because it says I can, nothing takes. I'm begining to wonder if there is no transition between VideoWave and DVD Builder.
This is my first post, sorry if anything is out of place, and thanks in advance for any and all help.

Windows Media Player 11 and Internet Explorer 7 MAY cause problems, so it is recommended you roll them back 1 version.
To find out "how to" go here http://forums.support.roxio.com/index.php?showtopic=23162.
If you dont know what WMP and IE is do a search in your Windows Help and Support.

To find out if you have Internet Explorer 7 installed, click on Help/About at the top of the screen. What version does it show you have?
