Long Burn Time

I have similar specs to the original poster and Im using the newest Roxio creator 9 and I tried for the 1st time to burn a data dvd and like him it took like an hour to burn.

You cited to a post in which the last entry had been in 2006 relating to EMC9!

Are you using EMC9 or Creator 2009, the latter being Roxio's newest DVD burning software....
