I would like to download an owners manual for Toast 9, to see if this product would suit my needs.  Could you post a link?  Thanks.

1. Posted under wrong forum section

2. This includes all the features to help you decide. Manual will only include the "How to" to achieve the functions.

I alrady read through the web site, but I need to know how Toast handles chapter markers, etc.

Toast handles chapter markers for video DVDs differently depending on the source. If you are using iMovie then Toast respects markers you place there. If copying an existing DVD or using an MPEG 2 file that has existing chapter markers Toast will retain those markers. If using a video file that doesn't have chapter marks Toast will add them in 5-minute increments although with some formats you have the option to select other time intervals or no markers.

Toast also has an option to display a "scene menu" with thumbnail images at each chapter point. You cannot label the scenes.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
