I currently have Popcorn and it only uses one CPU when compressing a DVD onto single-layer media.  Does anyone who has a multi-CPU Mac know if Toast 7 uses more than one CPU when compressing DVD?  If so, I might upgrade.  FYI, I have a Quad G5 so if anyone with one of these could see if it uses all 4 CPUs I would love to know.

Both Popcorn and Toast use all CPU.  A Quad will use all four.  I don't know why you would be seeing different.
