I'm getting the error "80004005 Error while  Encoding Movie"

Everything seems to be fine created chapters and set up  the menu in the style I want but when I start the burn process it just can't encode the movie!

Thanks, David

Try changing to software rendering.  Go to Tools/Options, and click in the circle to the left of Software, under Render With.

Also, make sure that you have the latest drivers for your video card.

Still no fix.
Tried updating all my drivers on my pc though driveragent.com. Which were a few! still had same error. (and the render with you suggested)
Tried running the repair thought the roxio cd. still didn't work.
Then uninstalled roxio and uninstalled ATI  TV wonder which conflicted with roixo. no luck.
Then installed roxio again. Still got same error.
Tried to burn a recorded movie (from VCR)I had already burned before and it didn't work either.

I give up! I just don't know what to do. Please Help.

Is the new roxio 2009 more stable?  does it conflict with other programs easy?

I've always had problems with Roxio not doing something right (not writing CD text when it supposed to. etc).
Started with roxio 5...7...8 ..then..9 -all full versions)
