I have 2 Problems while burning CD/DVD With Roxio Creator 2009.
1.some times I got an error that says "SCSI Device not Installed" While burning CD/DVDs.
2.In Most cases Roxio Creator 2009 is unable to add data to CD/DVDs that burned (Mulisession) and shows this message "This Disc Can Not Be used For This Project".
I would be so thankful if you can help me.

As for the multi-session problem, a bit more detail please - how were these created and by what program? A full step by step would help

Thanks

I want to know why Roxio Creator 2009 is unable to detect that my DVD/CD is open.
second problem is "SCSI Device Not Installed" error that i've got during burning (some times).

Are you trying to add sessions from a disc prepared in another version? If not, make 100% certain that you didn't inadvertently close the previous session and that you also import it. This from the Help File
"If you have an existing data disc that was created with Creator Classic and the disc was not closed or recorded as a “Read-only Disc,” you can add additional data to the disc.
To add data to the disc:
1 In the Projects area, click Data Disc to start a new Data Disc project.
2 Insert the disc you want to add data to into your recorder.
3 Click Import Data from an appendable disc. The data on the disc is imported from the disc and added to the Project area.
4 Continue as you normally would when making a data disc. This includes adding files and folders to your project, and then burning your disc. "
Try opening Creator Classic from the Start Menu instead of using the Home app

1. I recommend that you check out disc information under tools and check out the disc to make sure that it is not a closed disc. (hopefully it is not closed for some reason).
2. If it is not closed or finalized, try going to the data screen, eject the media and reinsert and see if there's a pop up requesting if you want to load it.
Good luck.

Not mine. What problem do you have with your SATA writer?

In most cases All parts of RC2009 prompt me this error message while trying to write a disc with a SATA DVD writer "SCSI Device Not Installed".
I changed one of my DVD writers with an IDE DVD writer, now RC2009 writes with know errors.

I'm afraid you are wrong. This particular case is software-related. I experienced the same issue ("SCSI device not installed" error message during burning a disc) with Creator 2009 after installation of Winamp (the very latest version available at this time). Uninstallation did not help so I had to re-install Vista from scratch. I even installed Winamp again just to make sure it caused the problem - and yes, "SCSI device not installed" again, each time I'm trying to burn CD or DVD.

You dug up another long dead thread. Your information about Winamp is good, but Daithi wasn't wrong. It doesn't appear that the Roxio Creator 2009 is causing the probem, and that is the software he was referring to.
