Ive notice that when Im creating a vob file that if I have the video setting set to ntsc but have loaded a pal movie toast will ask me if I would like to convert the file to ntsc which it does and in my opinion with fantastic results... as this is something that happens "under the bonnet" I was wondering what the settings are for this to happen..can anyone help?

Toast notices that the frame rate and resolution of the video is for PAL and that you have NTSC selected as the format in Toast Preferences. It encodes the video according to either the Automatic setting or the custom setting you've made.
