how do I transfer my 4 mini handycam dvd-r's into my c drive so I can make a full size dvd

Usually you have to finalize the dvd-r's in the camcorder and then just put the dvd-r in the DVD drive and copy the folder as you would for data.

HOWEVER, you really need to read the handycam manual and follow the directions because there are many different cameras.  

What you do next depends on if you want to combine or edit the video.    

You'd need to provide more information about what you want to do and what Roxio program you are using.
