I tried to restore a previosly saved state, for the first time, on my dell pc with windows vista. During reboot a Roxio Backontrack menu appeared that said:

"You have started Roxio BackOnTrack. The Windows operating system has not been loades.Please select one of the actions below, or click Exit to restart Windows operating system normally, without restoring."

The options were Restore and Undo.

I have tried all options but I always return to the same menu. Windows does not load. I have tried F8 but it does not work.

Please help! What can I do?

Hi,

I have exactly the same problem.
I am a Vista User and I was having trouble with WINDOWS UPDATE, so I tried BackOnTrack to restore to a previous point.
This it seemed to do and requested me restart. I hit restart, and the "What would you Like to do" screen came back.
Message "The Windows Opeerating System has not been loaded .... Options RESTORE (to a previous point) UNDO to go back to the saved point, and EXIT to restart.

I tried all of these options, and everytime it restats it comes back to the same screen.

I am stuck, Please Help !
