I have spent two weekends trying to get Roxio to burn a simple 30-minute video clip. I purchased the brand new, expensive, Creator 2009. I created a 'project' in MyDVD within the Creator product. It is a simple piece of video with a title. The burn button is in a ready state. I click it. The program attempts to begin the process, but then I consistently get, in a little box:
"operating system error: Gdiplus:: Status = 0x8000FFF -13"
I recently reinstalled Windows Media Center XP with every possible latest MS Windows update. My PC in in brand-new shape with all hardware recently verified as working perfectly.
I've made sure that the gdiplus.dll files exist in all appropriate folders (which seems beyond the call of duty to make this work).
I've run a patch from Sonic.
Nothing works. Yes, I'm frustrated. Please let me know if there is a fix. (And why does Sonic not have an 800 technical help phone #). -Jo

Did you run the patch in this KB article? It is old, but it may work.

Yes, I ran two patches. Unfortunately, they did not help. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

I had this same error in MyDVD and it was resolved by converting the file from mkv to avi using iskysoft converter. First try to burn a different file. There may be nothing wrong with your Gdiplus dll's.

Oh- I have version 6.2.0 with XP SP3 and my software did NOT come with my computer. I paid $35 for it. I still love it. No unsolvable problems so far since '07.

Did you realize that posted to a 3 year old thread? I am sure the poster has long ago moved on.
BTW, the poster never even mentioned anything about mkv so your post would not helped him at all.
