I have a BDMV folder and I can play the video on my computer.
When burned it to a Blu-ray disk - using the BDMV option I can play it on my Blu-ray play, but I get no sound - just the picture.
Any Ideas?

how BDMV folder was made? What's the manufacturer and model number of your Blu-ray player? Are you able to play BD movie with sound on that Blu-ray player?

I too am experiencing this problem when I author my HD-DVD on DVD. Video but no sound!
Perian has been previously installed and is latest version.
The same file authored in Boot Camp using Ulead's DVD MovieFactory 6 Plus plays fine with sound.
What's missing in Toast 9? [Toast 10 of course has it's HD-DVD ability clipped]
Playback is done on a Samsung Hybrid HD-DVD/Blu-ray player
File origin is:
Type: MPEG program stream
Duration: 0:52:45
Data Size: 4.37 GB
Bit Rate: 11.85 Mbps
Video Tracks:
224 MPEG-2, 1920 × 1080, 16:9, 29.97 fps, 18.20 Mbps, upper field first
Audio Tracks:
128 AC3 3/2, 48 kHz, 384 kbps
The thing here is that I'm able to burn said file correctly using ULEAD's DVD Movie Factory 6 Plus to create
a HD-DVD on DVD-DL.
I want to use Roxio Toast 9 HD because of its ability to adjust the Avg Bit Rate resulting in a slightly smaller file that would fit onto a reg DVD-R.
Yes, while the 'Data Size' shown above would lead one to think that it might fit onto a DVD-R, it doesn't due to overheads in creating the HD-DVD on DVD-R.
I've a feeling that this has something to do with the way Toast is utilizing QT which doesn't play-back AC3 audio? While this seems to have been solved for peeps creating DVDs with AVIs originating files just by installing Perian, what can I do with my .mpg file here to overcome this No-Audio issue?
Thank you in anticipation for your help!
