If you want MyTV ToGo to find your TiVo TV shows then you must have a true TiVo Series 2 TiVo box. The Series 2 TiVo box has networking built in. If you can setup the TiVo Desktop software to synchronize your TiVo to your PC then you can use MyTV ToGo to convert your TiVo shows to your mobile device. Unfortunately, DirecTV disabled the networking functionality in their TiVo boxes. Hence the TiVo Desktop software will not be able to pull content from your DirectTV Tivo and MyTV ToGo will not be able to convert the shows.
