It's not our site, and quit yelling. We are users, just like you.
Try the clean install again, and don't skip any steps.

Well it was working for a good stretch for you in the past so that's a good thing.
You did the clean install three times and the identical error in MyDVD popped up three separate times?
As GPB suggested, do the clean install, carefully, & it will hopefully get your issue resolved.

Went through clean install one more time checking each step off on a sheet so as not to miss any. Still no luck. videowave still having problems and will not allow me to open "MY DVD".
Any other ideas I can try.

Just to help anyone else who may be encountering the same problem I will tell how in this instance the problem was solved.
I contacted tech support they told me to do all the things I was told to do here in this support group. They also told me to change the rendering mode from "hardware" to "software". Since "My Dvd" and "videowave" would not open they sent me to "regedit" where I went to.
*Double-click the HKEY_CURRENT_USER folder this will expand or open the folder.
*Locate the software folder.
*Locate the Roxio folder.
*Locate the videou10 folder.
*Locate the video options folder.
*In the video options folder find the RenderMode key on the right hand side, right click on it and choose modify and set the value to 0.
Hope it helps someone.

Sounds a little shaky to me???
I don't have V10 installed anywhere so I can't test it. I do have V11 (Creator 2009) and there is nothing that resembles that Path in Registry.
There is a RenderMode Key under VideoUI/VideoOptions but the settings are:
1 = Hardware
2 = Software
Setting it to 0 also results in Hardware render. (perhaps a default setting)
It is most unlikely that the programmers used different Registry paths between version or scrambled the key values from one version to the next!
I would approach this 'solution' with extreme caution until such time it can be confirmed by others.

The thing that is puzzling to me is the initial statements made by the op:
"HAVE USED EASY MEDIA CREATOR FOR 11 MONTHS WITHOUT ANY REAL PROBLEMS. I HAVE NOT USED THE PROGRAM IN ABOUT 4 MONTHS. SINCE I LAST USED THE PROGRAM A PROBLEM POPPED UP . I HAVE NOT INSTALLED ANY NEW SOFTWARE OR HARDWARE SO I REALLY DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THIS PROBLEM AROSE."
How did the registry get edited?
