I just purchased the Cineplayer DVD Decoder Pack from the Windows official website so i can start watching DVDs on my PC. I am using windows XP 32bit, with an AMD 54004+ X2 and a PNY 9600 GT GPU ( using direct X 9.0c also ). I have updated all my graphics drivers and also toyed with the options in Cineplayer DVD Decoder Options via my control panel.
Spite all these efforts i cant get any audio or video play back when im trying to watch DVDs. I have tried tons of them, ranging from burned DVDs to brand new DVDs out the box.
When i insert the DVD, Cineplayer automates Windows Media Player to Start the dvd. I am given all of the titles in descending order like usual but just not audio or video. I can also tell its playing cause the timer at the bottom ascends just like it would if it was in a ordinary dvd player.
Any help on this subject? just trying to get my moneys worth.

I'm having a similar problem - I've downloaded the latest of everything as instructed, but I'm only getting sound, no vision.
Anyone know how to fix this?

I don't have the XP system handy, but try going to Control panel --> Cineplayer --> "disable hardware acceleration"
