Go ahead and post in your own language, someone here is probably fluent.  smile.gif

Being as it came with your computers (OEM version) you should contact the OEM supplier as they provide all support for THEIR product.

Product is OEM and does not offer the imaging functionality for mass deployment due to licensing reasons. You should consider purchasing "Enterprise (VLP) Licenses" for corporate deployment.

I'm having the same problem.  I purchased the product in August of 2007 for my home grown with Vista Business because earlier versions wouldn't work with Vista.  Never had a real use for the DVD portion until recently.  I ran into the same MPEG-2 activation problems I've seen listed.  I've re-loaded 3 times so far with the same results.  I tries the Roxanne, which is almost useless for this problem.  Tried the manual activation and had the exact same problem, "no key was listed in orange"  the area was blank.

I've tried the technical support and they just dump me and say I need to upgrade.  Problem is I have only had this package for a little over a year  ---- and they're not going to support it!!!  I can't afford that and I'm sure that there are many others that are in the same boat.  If there is no real answer and Roxio is unable to help, then I guess that when I can afford another package, it will not be a Roxio product.  Sorry, but I/we (other customers) paid good money in good faith and the product doesn't work.

any particular reason you can't reinstall the software and you have to re-image since you purchased the product?

rolleyes.gif Actually, this may help just about everyone with the MPEG-2 activation error problem.

Previous, Idid try to just re-install.  it didn't work.  I couldn't even get Windows to do an UNINSTASLL, hence the clean install using the instructions provided.  I started my 3rd clean install with a couple exceptions to the posted instructions.

1.  Removing programs you need to include SightSpeed and Xingtone Ringtone Maker.
2.  Under the regedit instructions, you need to go into H Key_Class Root and delete all folders that have either Roxio or Sonic as the first characters of the folder name.  There's a lot of them.

After I did that and re-installed the program with all features. The program not only opened and operated faster (after the registration), but when I got to the part where I, and apparently many ohters, ran into the MPEG-2 activation screen, it wasn't there.  The program opened and operated normally.

Hopefully this will help many of the others with this same activation problem --- If you see the activation screen, then there's something wrong with items stuck in the registry.

Not necessarily.  Sometimes the activation screen doesn't come up until you have used VideoWave, or MyDVD, many times.

So far, I've gone in and out of all menu items better than a dozen times.  Closed Roxio nad re-opened and repeated the menu check.  Everything is working fine.  One other thing I've noticed is that my Vista is booting faster  --- I have DTD on my desktop.  If I do run into the problem again, as you have noted --- after many more times of use --- I'll be back at this site to let you and others know.
