Hello,

I am creating a production in Videowave.   I have added 5 pictures and a song.    When I hit play it starts off OK but after two or three pictures the video stops and the audio keeps going.    What could be the problem?

thanks for your time.

Al

Reboot & try it again.

If you have some RW media, burn it and see how it looks (sounds).

If it still isn't right, then you will want to do a Clean Install – Here

Are the picture file types, all the same, or are that are dropped, different than the ones that work?

Yes they are all the same quality.

As a test, switch the photos around, with the same music, and see if it hangs on the same picture, or the same spot.

I have moved them around, added, deleted and can find no pattern.   Sometimes it will play only a second or two before it hangs and other times it few slides before it hangs.

Try those 5 slides, without the audio.

Also, what video card/chip do you have?  Are you using a laptop computer or a desktop computer?

roxio finally threw me a bone.....it told me my video drivers were out of date.     Updated the drivers and I am good to go.    Do not know why it took that long to for the driver dialogue box to pop up.

Thanks for all of your help.

I think he means that the program threw the warning message…

I have seen this happen a month or so after installing it suddenly decided the Video Card drivers couldn't work.

I get that message also (plus the about about needing to update my WMP) every week or so. I think there must be some internal check in the program that gets run every xxx days rolleyes.gif
