Anybody else have a problem with Roxio Media Import function not able to detect their JVC Everio camcorder? When Media IMport is set to "photo," I can see the Everio drive, and even import the videos off it, but Roxio thinks they are photos, because imported in "photo" mode. When I switch to video import, it simply does not see the Everio camera. How do I fix this? Any suggestions?
Thanks for any suggestions.

You should remove your email in the post. Many bots archive these pages and can harvest email addresses.
You don't need any software to transfer file from a JVC. You can do that using Windows Explorer. HOWEVER.... Depending on which model you are using and if you are shooting in widescreen, there is a known issue with JVC .mod files with many video editors.
Check this post in EMC 10 forum for transferring files from a JVC standard definition camcorder. If you have a hidef JVC, this would not apply.
There were duplicate posts so I deleted those. Happens sometimes if you press the button more than once.
