I have MyDVD software version 4.5. I've successfully built some DVDs with it, that play well on my computer, but not on my player. The menu comes up fine, but when I play one of the clips, it plays for about 2 seconds, freezes for about 2 seconds, and so on, and so on. I have a Memorex model MVD2028 that's about 6 years old, and I'm burning to Maxell 4.7 gig DVD-RWs, on a Dell Dimension 2350 with a CD/DVD burner. I've burned 2 experimental projects - 1 with .avi productions, built on Dazzle MovieStar software, and 1 with .mpg clips, captured with the Dazzle DVC 150, both with the same result. What am I doing wrong? My software is obviously pretty old. Do I need to upgrade? Somebody please help a newcomer! I'm really into this, now, but I'm beginning to get pretty frustrated!

It sounds like a media or Player issue.
Verbatim is a media you won't hear complaints about.
Your Player is struggling when it tries to read the media. Fresh quality media is a cheap check. If it improves, a Cleaner for the Player may be in order.
