I am working on a wedding video and it is seemingly complete. However when I burn it and play it on my DVD player, it plays the scene and goes back to the DVD menu. There has to be something that I am just missing, because I should be able to watch all scenes without having to keep going back to the menu.
Any help would be appreciated and I apologize if this has been discussed, but I don't really know what to search for.
Probably An Easy Fix

What version of EMC 8 do you have? If it isn't the Deluxe version, then I don't think that you can make it continue on to the next scene.
In MyDVD, go to File/Project Settings, and see if Play movie and all remaining movies in project. If it is there, click in the circle to the left of it, and click OK.

Thanks, granpabruce. I don't have the deluxe version, and there is no option to "play movie and all remaning movies in project". So my only option to make a real DVD is to pay more money? If I do update to the deluxe version (all I can seem to find is Creator 10 Deluxe for $119) will I have to start my project all over, or will I be able to pick up where I left off?

Did your version come with a computer or DVD burner? It doesn't much matter. All versions of EMC 8, with the exception of EMC 8 Deluxe, were stripped down versions, including the retail version of the product.
If you have a powerful computer, get the new Roxio Creator 2009 or 2009 Ultimate. Paying $119 for EMC 10 Deluxe is a ripoff, since it is out of production. The retail version (non-deluxe) will do what you want.

Or, you might be able to find EMC 8 Deluxe, or EMC 9 or EMC 10, on eBay or similar - either dealers selling off extra stock, or people who've upgraded and are selling off the old copy. Just be careful you are getting a FULL Version, not an OEM Version.
