Scene Detection detects about 30 scenes; but when it is done, and I click "OK" the scenes do not show up in "Mdia selector."

A few of us have tested this, after seeing a post similar to yours. Mine did not work the first 3 or 4 times that I did it, so I gave up.

A day later, I tried it, and it worked, so reboot, and try it again in both Media Manager and VideoWave.

One thing to watch is that you have the My Media tab selected.

Captured Tape.avi indicates it has selected scenes, notice the little black arrow in the corner.

But if I select the Folders tab, the same clip indicates no scenes…

However you can set scenes using either tab!

Thanks; however, I have done all of the above suggestions, and still scenes are detected, but they disappear, when I click "OK"

I am running Vista, by the way.

Then we hope they will come back after you carefully follow the Clean Install instructions – Vista

Worked for me!
