Okay, my Men In Black download took about 5 hours... fast wireless connection, but not that fast.

The "prep" time (which is the time from clicking the Burn button to when the burn starts was about 4.5 hours.

Actual burn time, about 30 minutes.

Movie looks pretty good, but... and this is a big but... the audio is somewhere about 1/2 to 3/4 second ahead of the video. And why should that be? Sync is fine when watching the .WMV file on the PC, but the burnt QFlix disc is way out, on two different players. On the plus side, the disc does play in my finicky Sony DVD player.

Hardly definitive, but the 3 I burned were in sync…

The second one did display some 'jitter' in spots, so I re-burned it on different media and it was OK.

To re-burn you will have to contact CinemaNow Tech Support who will reauthorize the download. (yes you get to do it all over again)

Might be my imagination but I thought the printable Qflex discs I had looks rough. I used the Ridata non-printable for the second try. Verbatim also makes Qflex discs and IF they had been available to me, I would have used those. (I would hate to base my media envy on a 3 disc sampling…)

Time wise your numbers are about the same as I have seen. Did you notice the download size is probably between 1.4GB to 1.9GB?

Yes, my download was 1.6GB (I'd meant to include that in my original post). What movies have you downloaded, Jim?

Ballistic – forgot I had seen that one, I doubt I will ever look at again…

Fools Gold – really love the beginning!

I am hoping with Sonic's purchase of CinemaNow the list will grow beyond the 80 they have now.

Which media did you burn your MIB to? (i am desperately trying to blame this on the media laugh.gif )

I used the RIData media, not the printable stuff. I have a hard time thinking it's media related.

And yes, I hope the list of available movies grows significantly. It's a pretty small list at this point.
